Our Savior’s Ladies’ Aid

The Our Savior’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid met in Luther Hall on Oct. 8. Sandy Pieper was hostess. President Maren Ring welcomed everyone. Devotion was conducted by Ring.

Ring thanked alle who helped in any way in connection with the fall bazaar and for those who helped with Roland Stiehl’s funeral.

A motion was made and carried to make the following donations: $200 to Bethany Lutheran Seminary Emergency Fund and $100 to the Scholarship Fund of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.

The date for the Mission Festival service has been changed to Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. with a potluck dinner following the service.

There is a signup sheet for anyone wishing to purchase wreaths from MCCL.

A letter has been received from the St, Peter Regional Treatment Center enclosing a list of items most needed as Christinas gifts for their residents.

Information about Cross-Stitch, the network for ELS Women’s Mission Societies, was handed out. During 2010 Cross-Stitch proposes to raise $30,000 to assist ELS missions in India, Ukraine, Chile and Peru.
